Rooftop solar on Hotels
Baywood Hotels wanted to invest in solar because they wanted to leave the smallest carbon footprint possible. Big Sun Solar came highly recommended from their bank, Texas Capital Bank, and moved forward with installing rooftop solar at 4 of their hotel properties: Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites, Holiday Inn Express and Tru by Hilton.

Our goal from the beginning was to make sure that the investment we make with solar is paid through either providing electricity back to the grid or having a more neutral usage at the hotel. Big Sun Solar came highly recommended to us from a bank we do business with and we now have Big Sun solar panels on many of our hotels throughout San Antonio and plan on rolling it out to other hotels throughout the country. We would definitely recommend Big Sun to anyone in the hotel industry but also to anyone who wants solar.
