Vitesco Technologies selected Big Sun Solar to build a large-scale solar project adjacent to Vitesco’s manufacturing facility in Seguin, Texas. Local utility, Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative (GVEC), has approved a 3-party power purchase agreement (PPA) with Big Sun Solar and Vitesco to help Vitesco reach their renewable energy goals. Through this power purchase agreement, Big Sun Solar owns and operates the solar project, and Vitesco purchases the electricity generated to offset their energy consumption. This solar project reflects Vitesco’s strong ambition to drive sustainability in all business activities along their value chain.
